Two 12" RL-P's Vs. Three 8" RL-I's

Recommendations? I really like the RL-I8 after seeing the only vid on ROE, but RL-P's are pretty temtping too. Pretty much both in the same price range and I can pick them up locally from mike so.. C'mon fellas help me make up my mind. I would say the 3 RL-I's would destroy the RL-p's. I had one RL-P 12 a while ago runnning off of 1200 watts and it really wasn't that loud and barely handled the power.

i would say two 12"s over three 8"s, but that is kind of general. i dont have any experience with either woofers, other than hearing a rl-p.

if you ever have the chance, look at a dd 8". very sexy and awesome attention to detail. very nice looking speakers.

it is a 2500d, but its a dual 4 sub wired at 8 ohms, so its only seeing like 600 watts or something
