who wants candy?
I wanna put them in a sealed enclosure in a chevy cavalier trunk. They will get thier RMS wattage at 1 ohm, anyone hear two 12" l7's or three 10" l7's sealed before?? which will be louder and make more sound pressre in the car like your brain is vibrating ha

w/e setup i go with, i was thinkin of a disign for the box. what would it sound like if say i made a dual enclosure but with on side was sealed and the other side of the box was vent ported.. so one sub would be ported and the other sealed what would that sound like

you want louder definitely go with three 10's.

L7's are noisy speakers anyways and the suspension is stiff as hell so you'll definitely get loudness out of it now whether it's bass or not that's the question but if you just want to see quadruple street lights and street signs then fawk it go for it.

My two cents:

Your asking 2 L7 12's or 3 L7 10s?

Well 3 L7 10s will move more area and be louder, but it will be a bigger hassel. MY suggestion would be to get 2 L7 15s. That way, you got the same air space moving that 3 10's would push, and its a lot neater and less of a hassle. 2 15 L7s is my setup and its LOUD. Give em 1500+ watts true RMS and they will be your new babies.

do 2 12in L7's becuase they could be wired into a 1 or 2 ohm load, but if you have 3 10's you would get i think either a 2.66 or 1.33 load, or you could do what im doing 3 12 inch l7's but find a amp that can put out decent power @ those loads

If you want a cooler avatar use integration.

2 12's will be cheaper, more conventional impedence, and take up less space (most likely). 3 10's would get louder, be more visually appealing (if your intent is to impress).

My vote is for 12's, but if you can get 15's, it would be the best of any option you have listed

alright so i can go with two 12"s but about that other question, how would it sound if i made a normal dual enclosure but with one side sealed and the other side vented, would it be a combination of loud and clean sounding?

No go 4-5 cubes ported 35hz and put 2 12 l7s on it and push 2krms to them and be done

no. either either ported for both, or sealed for both.
Why the hell do you want to seal L7's? I mean come on seriously:crap:
