Two 12" L5's or One 15" L7

First of all. Im new...usually just browse the forums and check people's builds...but now need some info as I'm getting a new jeep.

first of all. which route should I take sub wise. the 2 12's or 1 15.?

second of all. here's what I have picked out for a capacitor

welcome. audioque>kicker. get an hdc3 15 over anything. and power it with an aq1200. and alot of people like to bash the capacitor users so i wouldnt ask that =P

honestly I'm trying to learn alot...

so rather than get flamed.

why not use a capacitor?

and link me to what amp/subs your talking about?

put the cap back and save your money.

figure out how much space 2 12s will take vs 1 15 and if you can give up that much.

do you plan on leaving the stock system in and 'add on' this sub or are you replacing the HU also?

figure out what final ohm load you will have and which amp might work best for you.

decide if you need an additional or upgraded battery. If it is additional you chose, that will most likely go in the back and will require fusing, wiring, and space.

If you read installs and builds, you will figure out quickly what to do.

ok ok no cap. sounds good.

as far as another battery. wouldn't that be more expensive than a cap itself?

yea its worth it tho it actually works. eventually you might need a high output alternator if you cant keep the voltage up.
