Under $300 for all the subs.

Theres alot to consider here. Whats it going into? How much space do you have to work with? How much power are you useing? etc.....????? Gonna need more info before you get an answer.

I can use whatever power needed. Its goin in the hach of a civic si 2002. ill have to get back to you tomorrow then because I dont have specs now.

Ive never really liked the 8" setups ive heard

sound too wimpy

but i have only heard about 6 various 8" setups so i dont have a lot to go by

Civic SI's get nice cabin gain... so either will do well..

But, I will say, getting the right Price/Ohm/Power Ratio is a lil easier with 2 speakers than with 4... So, I'd just say go with 2 10's or 12's and call it a day...
