Please excuse my ignorance if this has been covered before.
I did a search, but it just got me more confused. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif
I'm a newbie to both this forum and to car audio systems.
I have an high end Pioneer head unit with a stock speakers in a convertible.
(yea, I know, stock speakers ****) I've added a Alpine MRP 500 for the sub, now my 12" went south. I'm in the mood for a couple 10's or a 15.
The question is, which choice is better for my music taste. I listen to mostly blues with a heavy base and strong drums. (think Stevie Ray Vaughn)
I'm not looking to shake any windows or impress any high school girls, just want the cleanest, clearest base I can get without sounding muddy.
Thanks for your opinions.
