I am curious to know how those work out. They are the UFW-12's. They were never put into production home subs because, according to what I have read, they weren't built right and the spiders will limit their Xmax to between 7 and 12mm. Either way, the look good and should get loud in a ported box. Good luck man!

Things of interest: Possibly limited excursion, possible 2.5" coil. Just wondering, who gave you the 2000w figure? They look beefy, but not THAT beefy lol

Yep, the specs are not very good, lol. Horribly high Fs and Qts. Stiff spiders with a low BL product? Not something I would try to put in a vented enclosure. Price isn't bad, though, and six of them should still be lots of fun.

It'll be ok...Chuck will lead this build to awesomeness! And yeah maybe 2K is pushing it....but 1500 a pop should be fine....here is vid with 4 on 2 AP3K's...didn't look bad!

I really didn't have any bad intentions, I was just looking at those drivers a few days ago when they were posted at DIYMA and this is the first time I've seen someone running them. At almost $80 a piece shipped, I think they're still great buys, especially for multisub setups or small budget build. They're aesthetically pleasing too, which would make them nice for a show build. Plus, the stuff about the excursion was speculation with no actual proof: who knows, maybe it was actually blown out of proportion. I mean, watching that video, they look pretty good lol

Only saw 1 AP3k in that vid. But it did look like they were hitting pretty good. Although looks like that port is short as hell. Must be tuned HIGH.
