I bought some blown amps from this guy a while ago, and now he is sending me amps to see if I can fix them. In this batch, there were a pair of Eclipse 3241's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Made in USA, dual power supplies...I was droolin when I saw the guts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I cleaned each amp, and that was all they needed to work to be honest! They sound fantastic, but I haven't given them a REAL demo session yet, that's for another day. I've got to find some way to buy/trade him for these...

The following pics are from the first amp, and the exterior pics are in before-after order. Unfortunately, some of the lettering began to melt off on the front, which was my fault for how I was scrubbing it. I didn't make the same mistake from there on lol

Everyone's an amp repair guy now?

I'm not an "amp repair guy" by any means. I just know a few things to get around common issues with amps. I can fix things like inputs, broken solder joints, etc. I am pretty good at cleaning up amps too. But as far as these amps go, they were in pretty bad condition and could only be cleaned up to an extent without being repainted (which would erase the eclipse logo, something I don't want to do).
