Tweeters (Easy, right?)

So I'm back in the market for raw drivers or possibly pieced out tweeters.

Must be designed to perform 2k and up. I'm okay on mids and I'm pretty set on their bandwidth.

I have 2 channels to trade (JL, MTX). Also a neo 8" subwoofer BNIB. Uhm...and some 4ga wire, maybe an RCA lying around.

Looking to stay $100 or less shipped. If something comes up worth more money, that's fine, too.

Have you thought about the DD tweeters? The ones from the German component set?

I have a set of Bnib orion tweeters. And how much 4 gauge do you need I have some just depends on how much you need if I have big enough pieces and I have all kinds of fda wires around. Lmk

I have, and even put in some offers on a couple pairs. Heard some not-so-good things about them, and heard some good things. Haven't heard the German set in person except on a demo wall.

I have 2 times iirc. One was off head unit power. Very surprising. Don't remember the other time though.

And your impression? Remember, SQ is the goal. Natural tonality, no speaker coloration, articulate, minimal processing needed, and will do well off the XM-7557.

I think some large silks might be interesting to try.
