Turning LP/HP filter off on 12" sealed sub

Will this generate better low frequency sound??? If I turn the filter off, the SSF turns off also. Since my sub is sealed, will this sound better? Also will this allow voices and such to come thru on my sub??? Should I just leave the LP filter on then? Its set at 80Hz with no adjustment available.

Leave the LP filter on, you shouldn't be hearing voices unless it's a really, really, shallow slope...

Turn the HP/SSF filters off.

Unfortunately the SSF is always on when the LP filter is on. I cant turn the SSF off independantly.

There shouldn't be much of a negative impact by having the SSF on if you have a sealed enclosure. It just isn't necessary but having it won't hurt.

There isn't much that can play very far below 20hz. I doubt you will miss those lowest of low notes (you can't even hear them). And your amp and sub will get a break from not having to play them.

You DEF want a LP filter so I say keep them both on. 80hz is a good place for most sub installs. Just turn the SSF all the way down or anywhere under 20hz.
