i know ur all thinking that a turbocharged boat ain't much, but you haven't seen this.

according to someone on rcuniverse.net, its somehow forced induction electric. all i can think of is like some kinda nitrous sprayed on the motor to keep it cool, but the guy in the video says "thats the turbine?" well, electrics dont have turbos. so im really not sure.its not really turbo......most likely that was electric.
I don't know. If you're running 18-24 cells with a high rpm electric motor they can scream. Mine made a similar noise not as loud, but I also had the astroflight motor which is out dated and only runs on 12 cells along with the fact it only ran at 35 mph. I'd expect an electric to be that loud when it's doing 120 mph in water.i know, he said in the video it was a turbine, but it was too smooth to be a nitro. btw, ive been in nitro for 3 yrs, rc for 5. that doesn't sound like a nitro, but u never know. it does peak, and electrics are not that loud. that smooth, but not that loud.
yeah ive been into r/c off and on for about 3 years now, and i dont see how an electric motor could be forced induction, we used to spray extra virgin olive oil, into some of our old car motors, it freed up a lot of resistance, doubled speeds at some points, by all means these were tiny motors. they were in cars called tamiya mini 4wd.
The Old Guy At The End Of The Video Is My Neighbor!!!!!!!! I'm Being Serious Too. and the boat is electric. an industry called Hacker who makes electric motors and speed controls is what is used in that boat. it ran off of 3 6 cell NiCd batteries.
