Tumult or Brahma??

yeah.. exactly a sub is a sub... its not like they put some special circuit or something to make it work in a car environment. the difference is only that the tumult is more specialized at reproducing very low frequencies in greater detail than a brahma, with less emphasis on higher bass frequencies, i believe. ie you could probably squeeze out more spl from a tumult at 20 hz than a brahma.. at higher bass frequencies like 60hz and up, it maybe not be as well suited, i'm not sure on that though.

I would get the 2 XXX 15s. Although the Tumult looks amazing though.

Hey the eclipse is a serious sub, might not be the best SPL out there, but definatly on of the top ones with great SQ, they are just a lil' pricey, but I like them a lot

yep..........the Ti is a mean a$$ sub.........its al very well saying "hey look at the big brahma or the RE xxx or dd9715 etc etc" - just u remeber whe the Ti was made - how many years ago now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif ..........and to this day it can hld its own against many subs..........

Hey xin my ride right now is a 95 Kawasaki Ninja ZX 6R. But I'm selling her soon and I'm hopeing to buy a Nissan 300ZX or a Chev Blazer, because it's getting facking COLD.

Well with the Brahma if I got 2 15 would someone be able to last in there hitting some low *** cicles for a min? The only way I'm going brahma now instead of XXX is because there is a dealer ship in Abbotsford BC and I go there lots and I also e-mailed the dealer and asked him some Questions and he told me something about the Tumult that is how this Forum started and I just wanted to know your ppls Opinions on them.. thx

I have heard of the Brahma 12s (2) and they were really nice, had tons of SQ and some decent SPL. The XXX would hit retardly lows, especially they are 15s (2). I would totally get the XXX if I were you. By the way, what are you planning to run any of those subs with? Do you deal with Listen In or Stay Tuned at all?

Yeah I deal with Stay Tuned and Listen in, but they don't got XXX I dont' think. I'll have to talk to Bob and see if they could get em. and I would probably want to run 1500D with them or if you guys have a differen't opinion on an amp for XXX or Brahma I' might think about it

Na, Listen Inn doesn't have XXX. They only carry Planet Audio, CerwinWega, Eclipse, Soundstream. I don't think he could get the XXX or if he can it would be very expensive.

yeah I know. That's why I want to go Brahma instead of the XXX because the brahma Dealer is in Abbotsford and the XXX dealer is in Ontario.

2 15" Brahma's or 2 15" Tumults

with 2 1500D's???

yeah i just saw the specs of the Ti Pro 18's, they look insane, wish did nto have to pay tution, I would be able to get them
