where is eds? and is there a website? Where can i get the Tsunami amp? Why would you want to pay an extra 100$ for 1200x1@1ohm. The Tsunami is very underrated and nearly see 1250. I think the whole point is to try and save money while also getting alot of watts...... I Still say go Tsunami If you have the Room!

This is a tecnical question that i havent found an answer to. Hopefully you can help. As you know i have the orion 1200d but it shuts off at high bass cause it can only go down to 1ohm and my w7 is at .75 ohm. Will the tsunami 1100 do the same?

wait...

the speaker is dual 3 ohm coils (assuming 13W7... the rest are all single 3 ohm coils..) you could only possibly be running it at 1.5 ohms... not .75... unless you have a pair.

maybe it's a voltage issue..

It says they hold a warrenty through ED...for like 3 years.Who do you know that keeps an amp for 3 years?

Are you sure for the Tsunamis? I see 6 months listed on their web site. Most companies warranty their amps for a year right?

I am putting this into either my 97 mountaineer or 92 explorer, so space is not really a factor, but the Orions are just so **** good, and they got better after DEI bought them and did some improvements

no 13 w7's have dual 1.5 voice coils not 3ohm. only the 10's and 12's are 3 ohms. so do you think its still a voltage issue?

doh! sorry man... lousy stinking memory not working for me recently...

I would not recommend running any map for any sort of extended period of time below lowest rateed impedance... Tsunami's included... it's just asking for trouble...
