Has anyone had experience with the Pioneer TS-W5102SPL? Please no flaming or hype unless youve dealt with the sub. Yes i know they have the record but i saw them on egay for 500 bucks so i thought about buying one just to play with or try to see how loud they are in a daily set-up. Really though just want info on the sub iam not looking for any reccomondations on other subs or what i should get instead iam just some hard data on the pioneer....Thanks

Jose

My friend has a 12" TS-W3004SPL in a 2.5 cu foot box tuned to 33 or so Hz. I have never heard the TS-W5102SPL, but I definately don't like my friends sub for daily. I know SPL and SQ are all in the install (and beer), but this thing didn't get all that loud, nor did it go low. Personally, I thought for the money there were far better options out there. But...the TS-W5102SPL might be completely different then his sub. Just thought I would throw that out there as nobody else has commented.

Mustn't have been a very good install. All the reviews I've heard is that the 3004 SPLs dominate the lows well below 20hz.

the tsw3004 spl sub is good. and gets low!!I would get that sub
definitely get the tsw3004spl lolz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

I've got the 2000SPL's, the previous models of the 3000SPL's. I like them a lot. Just in case you were wondering.
