hey guys its been awhile but i got another truck a 1994 s10 reg cab and i got to alpine type S 12's yeah not type r and i cant find anything out about them only type r so are they good subs ? they will be in .85 cf each sealed with 300 rms each behind the seat of my truck my amp is profile clarus cl 800 and my deck is alpine cda 9835 will this be ok system also could u give me the ups and downs of the alpine type s 12

they are good subs, they meter louder than the Rs do. thats about all compared 2 the Rs. The Ss get loud and the sound good. i say port em if ya can

I had a 94 S10 single cab also. One thing you could do is cut out the jack mount behind the passenger seat. That's what I did to fit my 2 12'' CVRs in there.

yeah i already cut the jack mount out how did ur truck sound with the 12's in it and did u have leg room im over 6 ft tall also can someone tell me why the reg cab will be loud?

I assume he simply means your system will be loud, since you will be installing a fairly large system... in a regular cab (small airspace).

Because sblazer isn't very precise at regurgitating spkrman's words and test results. Its been said by spkrman that in a low power setting the S actually performs better, but increase amplifier power and the situation changes.
