If youre bent on keepin the car... try to isolate where the rattle is coming from, and use silicone to try to dampen the rattle at its source BEFORE using dynamat. Works every time.

Yep, those are $60...
Give me $25 and I will send you 2 rolls of 4"x 33' rolls of "Matting" :wink: :wink: at the "Hardware" store... They sell them for $8 a roll and Shipping would take the rest.
My trunk moved almost an inch before I put the matting on, but I just put it on and it doesn't rattle... I found other rattles that I couldn't hear before (Brakelights and bumper...)
But yeah, all you gotta do is cut it and apply with heat, but it is asphault based... I didn't really smell it but it is way strong in the package..
I don't know if dealing like this is a bad thing on this forum... I know quoting boxes and stuff is, but I don't see the harm...

I'd take pics of my trunk and roof, but I don't know where my cam is...

LOL!!! Why would someone do that!! Putting it inside only raises your DB score by 1 or 2, but on the outside, you can gain a whole 10 and a shiney new over-coat!!

It's just too fucking expensive. I should know, I've gone through about 4 bulk packs of it. Next time I'm either going with Raamat or Second Skin...
I need about another 150 sq feet of something to do the door skins and the ceiling.
