trunk free air in an 09 wrx?

what's up guys. heres the situation. i have an 09 wrx my trunk slopes upwards towards the rear seats so if i did a single 12 in a decent sized box it would have to sit down close to the trunk latch so i was thining about a 2 12's or 15's if i can get it with the height limited free air. have no experience with free air setups or how they sound. any opinions? my total trunk space is around 11cubes

couple things.. they don't get as loud as traditional setups.. by any means.. to do them well you need to completely seal the trunk from the car.. and you need the right subs or they will sound like ass

ya i read on the sealing stuff a little bit. the only subs i found so far to suit the IB setup are rockford fosgate p3's. haven't found anything else just yet. so 2 12's or 15's wouldnt sound as good as a proper setup 10 in a good enclosure =/

They will still sound good.. they sound just fine.. they just don't get loud like a regular setup would get em

look around some more.. those would probably be the LAST subs I would use lol..

lol me too but they're what i've found for right now haha. so in all honestly is it even worth screwing with or just try and make a real box work and put a decent sub in. my original plan was an sa12

trunks dimensions are weird. it has a slope type design
