It was actually kind of my idea...was talking to a TRU guy who said they were looking for more dealers. I talked to Ben, and he was interested. Then I was out of the loop 2 seconds later and the rest is history.

From what I've heard from someone who was very involved in the whole TRU amp debacle, there was a LOT of lies said about their production in Korea. The person I spoke to was very involved in figuring out that they indeed were built there, and that they were severely overpriced.
I saw some TRU amps myself last time I attended an ECA meetings; they LOOKED nice, and seems like more thn a few people had "the hammer" among others. I didn't get a chance to listen to any, so I can't judge.
The same person who told me the TRU story and was involved also told me some of their $1,200 amps could be not only met, but bested by $400 amps easily.. and thsi is the super-high-end-audio type of person, so he knows his shit.
