trouble with my alpine MRP-M650 amp..

so i bought 2 15" kicker comp's with an alpine 1200w amp, when i went to buy the system, the guy had everything hooked up for me and played it for me, everything sounded great! anyways when i was finished running my wires in my car all i had to do was put the power wire into the amp and the end of it hit my amp and sparked pretty bad. now it lights up but dose not give any sound or vibration to my subs, and i know it all worked when i went to buy the system. all that i can think of is that i may have fried something inside my amp when the open power wire hit my amp and sparked.. anyone have any issues like this? idk if my amps junk or what. help?
