Trimming doors

What's the best way to do some minor door trimming? I got some door speakers that are a little too big and don't fit in the door. I don't know what the best way to trim my door would be though. I only need to get rid of like 1/8" on each side. I'm talking about the sheet metal by the way. Not the door panel. Any tips? Advice on doing so?

A dremal tool works good

build a baffle to bring the speaker out from the panel slightly letting it clear? not sure if its possible but would be a decent option.

I ended up taking tin snips and roughly cutting where I needed it then used my Dremel to smooth it down. Fits good now.
