Treo SSX

you really have no clue. the solo x is extremely inefficient. they really arent super great speakers. kicker makes a speaker and they dont even make an amp to power it, lol. you would have better luck getting decent SPL with a different driver. i am not saying its not loud, just not great. my friend has one with two crossfire 1000 watts amps strapped on each coil. yeah its impressive that he has that much power and what not, but it cant compete with the c2k 9.0 on the ssx 12" ported in the same boat.

they are kind of a lame speaker imo. other speakers will eat that thing up with half the power.

its has more ouput than the W7 and with a good install it will kill that way inefficient solo x.
edit: i have heard them, a few of them to be exact, all in different installs. i run treo stuff, my dealer uses a lot of ssx's.

I just ordered a jbl Bpx2200.1 off of the forum. I was thinking about getting 2 ssx's for daily. It says 1000-1800 for daily on treos webpage, do you think 2400wrms will get them moving? They have the output of the W7, but do they sound as good as the W7? No treo dealers around here so going on here say alone, but I have heard the ssi's they sound good. I am sure the ssx's will sound decent but wondering from someone who's heard em'. In my encounter with the ssx's they were louder than the dub7s, and they sounded very good.

SSX is a nice sub...if you wanna pay 5 million dollars for one.

Treo is extremely overpriced...they want 8 bijillion dollars for a CSX when I can get something louder for 1/10th the price.
