transponder bypass module

my question is, at the middle of the page it says A transponder bypass module or other modules may be needed for your type of vehicle. Please see DEI's interface lookup page at:

ive checked the Van with the site provided and it says nothing is required... so does this mean all i need is this package to have the alarm working?

also you guys think its safe to buy this off ebay? or should i try online stores or actual stores?

You won't need any additional modules for remote start. You may need a pair of relays for the door locks, if that alarm doesn't come with a door lock relay module and if the van isn't equipped with factory keyless entry.
