Trained Pitbull Vs. wolf in a pit fight!!!

havn't you guys read White Fang? I was very sad to see the pit bull take the badass wolf down in minutes.
Therefore Pitbull > Wolf
Who gives a fuck?? In its natural environment the wolf is a pack hunter, not a one on one pit fighter, so in real life it would be 5 or 6 wolves on one pit and then you'd see the pit being torn to shreds.

Wow,

People are so uneducated about APBT's. For one these dogs were bred to fight. Yes thats right bred to fight. Originally they were bred to bait bull in the 1800's. then that become outlawed so they started fighting pit against pit. They have been selectively bred for over a hundred years to be "game". A pitbull should show no human aggresion. If a handler could not handle the dog in the pit. the dog was useless. Saying a dog is not bred to due anything is a incredibly ignorant statement. What what is a retriever bred to do. You guessed it retrieve. What about a huskey, a beagle, a sheperd, thats right all bred to do a task. Same thing with a APBT. In recent years however the breed has been exploited and changed. Where the breed used to bred for gameness and temperment now its bred for size and color. A real apbt should not weigh more than 75lbs max. And yes no other dog of the same size could hang with a real game apbt. what is game-its the unyielding drive to complete the task at hand. No other dog has the same traits as a apbt. Any other questions.

Even though I think a wild wolf would own an APBT, I agree with everything you said. I have a friend that doesn't understand why I am so cautious of my Am Staff with my newest pup. He doesn't understand the drive of a pitbull until 2 days ago. My pit is sweet, loves other dogs and people. However the neighbor dog has been taunting him for about a month.

My dog has pulled the chainlink into spaghetti with his teeth worse than I could do with pliers and two hands. Does this mean he is a bad dog? No, it means his gameness is above average and I have to be a very responsible owner. I have had to put up three sheets of plywood to stop him from tearing his own face up on the chainlink fence. It doesn't mean he is a bad dog, it means he has the typical trait of "DRIVE" in a pitbull.

Since I put up the last sheet of wood, my pit has settled down and doesn't care about the neighbor dog anymore. Furthermore, my other neighbor across the street brought her weenie dog over last night and Chase was happy as a virgin boy on a super model. He was happy as helll.

My point is many people don't understand the "drive" of a pitbull. Wether its weight pulling, fighting, or obedience, the pitbull has a drive that no other breed of K9 has. That is why so many weak minded, and insecure people fight them.

yeah its hard for people to understand until they own one. and I would be carefull about thinking your boy has forgot about the neighbor dog. most people think pits are dumb but they are far from dumb. my boy remembers when and where he has met dogs he didnt like and if we walk by those same places he will become very "ready". Also because he plays with most dogs doesnt mean he will be good with every dog so be carefull and always watch him when he with other dogs. No telling when playing will become "Not Playing". not trying to preach just like to see responsible apbt owners.
