No my friend YOU are the biggest dumbass on this forum! Do you know anything about pitbulls at all?****in ignorance. you are officially the biggest dumbass on this forum. pits are not BRED to do shit but be a dog. people RAISE them to fight (any other dog could do the same) and those are the dumbasses that put the bad wrap on pits. whats the difference in a german sheapard going after someone and a pit going after someone? only thing i see different is .....a german sheapard has a good rep. so learn you sh!t before u run ur mouth. pits can be VERY smart by the way....depends how much time its given and how smart the owner is.

From what I know, they were bred for pig hunting. But I was asking if he knows anything about them, because a Pitbull likes to fight, and if it doesnt, most "real" Pitbull owners/breeders will not let them fight.the real question is do you.........cause they were originally bred in england for the purpose of baiting bulls......

you guys with the german shephard's should be lucky you have nice dogs like that. I honestly bought one about 4 yrs ago now.She is amazing and smart very great with me and family and my new daughter. But that is it, she cant see strangers, or no one can come into the house. She can climb the fences, break her kennel (inside house) and get out. And from a puppy 8 weeks old took her and have been taking her out side and tryn to work with people and she will not take to people. I wanted a friendly dog, and I do have one but she is way to over protective. And were I live I must say I do have the people with you average street pit try to walk by me and edge her on or talk there sht how bad there dog is. But the sad thing is how nasty these german shephards can get when they have to.
pits are a very wonderful people dog.....back in the 1800's when they were bred they were bred to have great temperment towards people and not so much towards other animals.....especially since they were used to fight bulls ....they needed an animal that could do well against much larger animals and still be safe to handle themselves.......i've owned several pits in my time and i've never had one that "liked" to fight more than any other dog.....its all in how they are raised and what level of socialization they get with other dogs and other animals....have never once had a pit fight another dog unless it was threatening me or one of my family members.....From what I know, they were bred for pig hunting. But I was asking if he knows anything about them, because a Pitbull likes to fight, and if it doesnt, most "real" Pitbull owners/breeders will not let them fight.
you are correct....most responsible dog breeders will dispose of a pit that tends to who agressive behavior......Actualy they normaly kill them.
