Yeah I hate to say it but if he's just gettin started and goofin off mostly the Tippman A5 or 98 Cust is what he'd be better suited with.
The Shocker is a higher end more expensive gun that's a tad bit more competition oriented.

manic what year is the Shocker? The old school shockers that are big bulky and boxed off are ugly as sin and decent guns at the most. The newer model Shockers are bad *** little guns. New Shocker>Timmy GZ

I used to play tournaments and such here in washington, its pretty big on the west coast. i have a brand new tippman a-5 with e trigger(full auto) and dual trigger with box manual tools a 12 oz co2 tank and a 3000psi 48 i tank and hopper ,less then 3 weeks old but for some reason needs a new regulator (a 10 dollor part) still 11 months left on warrenty, depends on what "products" you have to offer pm me if interested

I've got a Spyder Electra DX that I havent used in awhile. Seems to be in perfect working order. I'll trade you all the following for a 1200D:

Spyder Electra DX marker

20 oz co2 tank

black revvy hopper (the electric kind, mixes the balls around so they don't get jammed basically)

Scott safety mask

a couple pods

barrel condom
