I don't know much about paintguns. It's for my grandson, educate me.

well, tippmann is a HP marker (High pressure, means there is a higher pressure of air behind the ball when its fired and is harsher on paint, and breaks more in the breach ), it is known for its durability, however with that durability comes weight and slow firing.

The tippmann can cycle at like 15 balls per second. Tippmanns are known as low end guns. Nothing wrong with them, but they are.

My sft on the other hand is a LP marker ( low pressure much easier on paint) it can shoot over 20bps, uses a much different design and is lighter.

However if the kid doesnt know much about markers, he probably would be better off with a tippmann

If he's just starting to get into the sport, a tippmann would be perfect. Everybody works their way up. They are also very durable and reliable guns, as well as Spyder or Piranha. I actually have a little bit of equipment I could sell you.. PM me if interested.

Yeah I hate to say it but if he's just gettin started and goofin off mostly the Tippman A5 or 98 Cust is what he'd be better suited with.

The Shocker is a higher end more expensive gun that's a tad bit more competition oriented.

manic what year is the Shocker? The old school shockers that are big bulky and boxed off are ugly as sin and decent guns at the most. The newer model Shockers are bad *** little guns. New Shocker>Timmy GZ

I have a gameface recon e5 i would trade it is practicly brand new i only used it for a couple games and less then 750 shots i would say. I have an over head mask also.
