Trade 4 e8v3s for Dc 18?

So I have a chance to trade my 4 Sundown e8v3s for a Dc lvl4 18 with fresh recone and xl parts. I Know the 18 has more cone area but I KNOW my 8s are just barely broke in bein I bought them new I also know how they have been treated. Im currently driving a Dakota ext cab so Space is sortof an issue and would be hard to give up more than 6cubes. I know in general Dc subs like smaller enclosures but does the 18? And what would u guys do in my situation?

According to the site, 5.5cuft for an 18, the woofer displacement is .26. don't know about port displacent.
