Tossing around an Idea.... input please.

Well, ive been gathering all this information over the past couple months, and still, struggle to make up my mind, my front stage is set, the germaniums are all I expected, and more, they sound amazing. I now need to get my substage setup. I was set on downsizing from previous installs and just running a single 10 inch sub with ~700 watts rms. The new idea running through my hodgepodge of a mind is going big once again, removing the back seats and having an enclosure that takes up the back seat, it can be quite large going that way. With me being 6 feet, 4 inches tall, its uncomfortable for anybody to sit behind me as it is, why not make good use of that space eh. What this thread is, is a suggestion thread. I want lots of bass while retaining some detailed SQ to supplement the germs nicely. I am confident I can run a pair of 15's, or even three 12's. I dont want to exceed 1000 dollars for the entire setup, being an amp, with subs, you get the picture. Thanks for any help in advance.

I would just go a single speaker route and get something really nice and a nice amp to power it.

How much overall space is in the back? A single 18 might do you well.

I have heard the rl-p's sound nice...

but jacob has a re sx 18 for 225 shipped on here and that would do great.

well i am going to assume that mentioning a single 18 would be a ported enclosure, its in the back seat of a ***** am, upon looking at it, theres quite a bit of room.

1 sub gives more wow effect than two subs IMO. i have always been a one sub man but i have now switched to two and i like it too. its all preference

2 15" RL-P's and a Sundown 1500D would do you nicely. That's what I was running before I moved them into the house.

If you want to be stupidly loud then 2 HD315's would do the trick with a bigger amp...

i always loved the look of multiple sub setups, being that I already have a fi ssd 10 inch, what if I were to run 3 or 4 of them, thatd get loud, i think.....
