tornaders...

u pwn me.
i was on vacation though, at my grandparents house. it was actually kinda cool, we went crawfish hunting as soon as it was over. we were without power though for an entire week. and in south texas with 90%+ humidity and temperatures 90+ everyday,it wasnt fun.
yeah when ivan hit we didn't get power for like 2 and a half weeks, that really sucked because it was like that everyday here to, and had to clean up in that humidity and heat.

and this is why i pay the housing prices i do to live in cali.... In sac we have 0 natural disasters... I mean once in a while a street will flood but not like crazy shit im talking a few feet deep max every few years... Been 17 years since i felt an earthquake... and barely noticed it when i did feel it. The worst we have around here are forrest fires and i live in the city...

I would rather go through every natural disaster on a daily basis then to live in a place like California.

yes, earthquakes aren't disasters, and california is the only state free from natural disasters.

michigan has no hurricanes, no earthquakes, and tornados are very rare.

Lol not disasters...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif
Im waiting for another big Bay earthquake...we'll see if thats a disaster then...possibly thousands of casualties in a matter of seconds...

Tornados are less destructive of property, but they tend to tear lives apart, literally.

With most hurricanes, you have weeks to prepare and get out of the area. With your average tornado, you have less then 30 seconds.
i wouldnt say tornados are less destructive, its just not as spread out as a hurricane.

take a look at greensburg kansas, they got hit a few days ago. i would say this is pretty destructive...
