not at all... theres a torture test on hkpro.com with a p2000, i'll try to find it... this guy has put 50k rounds or something crazy like that through a stock p2k and has barely replaced anything.

you are 17 you know that right.
and you should fire off and get rid of the talon bullets cause if the govt happen to come across this thread in a search they can nail you bigtime.

the one thing i love about the p series is that the mag release is on the bottom of the trigger guard. one of my airsoft pistols had that and it was so much easier and quicker to reload.

yeah some dont like it because its kind of hard to do it with one finger, but it's not like it requires much effort to slide your thumb and index finger back, i find it quicker to reload than my glock, i've missed a couple of times trying to slap a mag into the glock without looking at combat league, never with the hk.

the funny thing is black talons are outdated technology, you can legally get much more nasty ammunition these days. i run 115g speer gold dots. the talons basically just got a bad rap in the media after some ******* used them to kill some cops or something, and the feds "made an example" the way they do.

while kahr does indeed make fine firearms, they have nothing to compete with the size and caliber of the kel-tec p3at. now, compare the p11 to any kahr, and the kahr wins. but noone makes a .380 like the kel-tec, especially when you factor in warranty and price.
and depending upon what state one lives in, you don't need permits to own, only to carry. however, regardless of state, you have to be 21 to purchase and legally own a handgun. missouri is a state where there is no permit needed to buy or own, only to carry concealed.

I carried the P-229 everyday for 3yrs when i was in the coast guard, hated every minute of it. Cant stand the full time DAK. I prefer my XD-40 over this gun
