Took my gun to the shooting range tonight. *PICS*

couple of pics. i shoot about 2 inch groups at 25 yards, 4-5 inch doubletaps at 15 yards, but i've spent a LOT of time at the range, have taken combat pistol classes and occasionally shoot at league for the hell of it.

The magazine (not clip) holds 13 rounds but you can get hi cap mags.

I want a HK P2000 or P2000SK but no one has them in stock let alone one for rental. I hear they are great guns for concealed carry.

2" @ 25 yards...im jealous. Cocheese, the pics arent working.

nice gun! my dad has a C&Z 9mm (back from the soviet era, what the KGB used to carry //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif ) that looks somewhat similar...

nice shooting! i kick *** with rifles, but i cant hit the broad side of a barnyard with a pistol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif im jelious

clip=magazine. it's just a matter of semantics.

anything over 10rds is considered hi-cap. ask anyone from cali, lol.

you like the DAK trigger?

i own a p3at, and while it's an awesome ccw, it's reliability is suspect. it's very ammo picky, doesn't like to be dirty and you have to shove it into the target to hit it, lol.

Magazine has a feeding spring, clip does not. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I like DAK trigger so far. Ive never owned a gun before so there werent any preconceptions on what I prefer. Some people have shot it and didnt like it at all because they were so used to DA/SA. I like the smooth pull and the same 6.5lb everytime you pull the trigger. No need to remember to decock when you holster and therefore less chance of "accidents". As you can see, I dont think I have any problems with accuracy but I want to practice more at longer distances with better sights. 7 yards is the typical self defense range so that's what I shoot at right now.

I looked at the Kel-tec's for CCW and they would make an awesome BUG (back up gun) but i'd rather have something like a SA XD9 sub compact or HK P2000SK or Kahr guns but they cost twice as much. Kel-tec's arent made to withstand a lot of shots (or very fun to shoot from what ive read)but they own the market for people who want something small.

i've not shot the DAK, but would like too. it does seem to have a love it or hate it following.

there is no such thing as a sub compact XD. i don't care what they want to call it, but just cutting a few inches off the barrel and the grip and leaving the rest of the gun huge, doesn't make for anything sub compact. see-camp, roubourgh (spelled wrong) kel-tech, NAA and a few others, are teh only true sub compacts. and the kel-tec has to be my primary due to the fact i don't live in a CC state, so i got something you can't see in a pocket holster. i can bend over, do what ever, don't need a jacket...etc, etc. if i lived in the right state, a commander sized 1911 would reside on my hip. well, it will anyway, just have to pay for the python first.

and the kel-tec isn't hard to shoot, it just isn't accurate. doesn't like to be dirty and it's very ammo picky, otherwise, it's a blast, lol

well, it goes everywhere with me, i've had it about a year but i take good care of it. the coating hk uses on their metal just has that type of dull black/grey look. i've put about 8k rounds through it, i field strip it after every range trip and clean with militec 1, and detail strip it every 3k rounds. dont know why the pictures aren't working, used imageshack and they were fine last night, they dont have some sort of policy against pictures of weapons do they?

i love my p2k //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif when i held it in the store, it just felt like it was made for my hand, like it was an extension of me or something. it's so easy to fire accurately without using the sights because it just points so naturally.
