Today, is a good day.

I've been waiting over 5 years for this day.

Shortly after I graduated I was convicted of a 4th degree felony. I had probation and community service. A little over 3 years ago I was released from probation. Shitty jobs, not even the option to vote, not allowed to own a firearm, if I wanted to move out of the country it would be harder for me to gain citizenship in the new country, and the in general feeling that I was the law's *****.

I got the letter today, the record is sealed, and I'm just a regular person once again.

It's about time.

I'm a bit dubious as to the claim of you being a "regular" person for obvious reasons //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif but it must feel good to have that monkey off your back in any case.

How did you pull that off? I got three felonys 7 years ago and I have to wait another 8 until I can 'seal' it.

Congrats man, sometimes it seems like even though you started being good your past never lets go. Sucks for getting a job, gun permits and even renting apartments etc sometimes.
