To Invert or Not To Invert

i may be a noob for asking but what is inverting the sub and what does it do? I'm guessing it means you flip it around and have the magnet stick out with the cone inside of the box. If i'm right in my thinking a sub usually pulls the air inside of the box when it hits because the woofer moves out. So wouldnt inverting mess up the air flow with the other 3 subs? Please dont flame me to badly i'm only curious.

yes, it means to flip the sub around, and no it wont mess the air around "cause cancellation" b/c he will also be swapping the sub wires "- for +" and "+ for -" so that all the sub will be moving to the same direction.

Well I am not one to ask. My take on inverting is this. I don't walk around with my *** hanging out and neither should subs
IOW I don't like the look of inverting.

Thanks. That's tight. I really hate audiobahn subs but it would look way cool if you did it with thos. Of course, it'd still be audiobahn.

hell yeah man...but couple in my school wear skirts that are literally like a piece of string...but some of them have like 6kids and herpes and shiznit...

im gonna see how it is inverted on Tuesday (they arrive tuesday)
