yah i love my car itslef, its just older and i dont know how long she will last lol.... she has a weird smell coming from the engine compartment when i slam on my brakes so i dont know what thats all about, and i have some rust but what honda owner doesnt lol
You can't make a decision with the information you're giving yourself. Short of totaling the car or having complete structural rust through, the car will last as long as you want it to if you are willing to maintain it and make repairs as needed. Only you can decide how long that will be and only then can you decide if it is worth making non-retrievable modifications. Brakes and tires are things you don't want to screw around with. Being able to stop is more important then being able to go. Find out what's going on with the brakes before you even think about spending money on anything else.

I would definitely recommend at least sealing your doors. Doing your trunk (quite a bit of it, if not all) will show great results. I just got a pack of the newer raammat bxt II to do my hatch and doors, but my car is smaller than yours. The bstock bxt would be a good idea, it's a pretty sweet price.

x2 on the brakes though. If you vehicle is having issues with what makes it stop, how it sounds is a minor detail.
