to change or not to change? that is the question

ok in my denali i have a navigation unit..looks like this

i belive if you look at the picture all the way to the botton in the center you will see what i mean..its nice especailly at night lights up the cabin something decent..and for factory speakers they get pretty loud..but the factory tweeters are violent on some songs..lol really sharp..lol anyways should i change that unit i wanted to get a in dash flip out but it looks like its gona be problem nbecause the colum that puts the car into drive,reverse..etc.. is too close to the unit because in the 2004 models they shifted the dash at a angle to give the driver better control of everything i guess..so i was lookin at a pioneer premier deh-960P

i can get this from ebay for about $350 do you guys think i should swap it even though the navigation is sweet..or as far as sound performance goes which will be better the factory unit or the pioneer?
