To anyone who has heard a rlp & xxx

To those who have experience with the xxx and rlp. I was wondering what you thought of the two. I have a 15xxx and 2 12 rlps. Have had a good amount of time on the xxx but zero on the rlps(no access to tools since I bought em //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif ). I have the opportunity to buy an amp that will power my xxx completely unlike before. Which did you like more? What was the difference in loudness? Does the rlp get as low as the xxx? Does the rlp hit 50-80hz much better than the xxx? Thx for any advice. If I buy this amp tonight for my xxx I'd have to sell my rlps quick w/o even using em //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. I dunno what to do //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif. Just looking for input from those who have used both.

Yes I've searched many times and read 100s of post in who knows how many threads //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. Just looking for any more advice.

Will either be a RF x7(1500+watts) w/ 15xxx or a kx1200 w/ 2 rlps

try and find mrrays write up comparing the 2. Best review ive ever seen. He pretty much said the rlp has just as good sq but a lil less low end. But other than that there right on par.

Just looking for any more input, thx though. I loved my xxx, but didnt like how bad of a drop it it had once you hit 50/60hz+. I however had to sell that car before I upgrade my frontstage so that didnt help it either //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif. I'm thinking of going with some pro60s, but havent decided yet. well i had a 15xxx in a sealed box and my gf has a 12 rlp in a sealed box rl-p is getting 500w and the xxx was given 1800w personally i liked the xxx more it was louder and seemed to play the low end better

I'd take the RL-P's over the XXX any day.I just don't like the sound of the XXX, period.Loudness, the RL-P's aren't that far off IMO.

It depends on what you're going after.If you just want loudness, XXX with 2 kx1200's would be the way to go.But the RL-P's would probably be "loud enough" while sounding a lot better IMO.

BTW: You're not going to hear an audible difference between say 1200 and 1600 watts.Those gains could easily be gained by a better box.

You know I ran a single XXX in 04 sealed and I have 2 RL-ps Right now sealed..

I had the XXX in a ported box, and the Rl-ps in a ported box.

The XXX won out in ported. but RL-ps sealed..

Which is why I sold my XXX, then I bought Matts XXX and had they lil RE fiasco this week while I ws trying to get it reconed..

I bought the XXX again to go ported for the summer, and Rl-ps sealed for the winter..

Hmm if I went the dual kx1200 I could hook my rlps up later first and decide if I wanted to sell em for a kx1200 or not. Just that 2 kx1200s would be huge and the r x7 comes with a real 1 year warranty through RF. HMMMM, more than likely I'll downfiring in a sealed box.

As for the fiasco...I must say I love my xxx...but RE has terrible cs.
