TL-S gets Rainbows!

OK, well not yet...they need to be installed, but waiting for my new DLS A7 to come in as well.

I picked up a set of Rainbow Germaniums, a Rainbow Vanadium 12" sub, and a DLS A7 from 6spdcoupe (Don). Great guy, spent all the time necessary to make sure I had the proper setup to suit my wants/needs.

I have an ELS 5.1 surround system stock in my 2007 Acura TL-S. I will run the center channel and surround channels with my stock amp, take 4 channels of the DLS A7 and bi-amp the Germaniums, and send about 440 back to the Vanadium sub in a 1cf sealed enclosure. I'll be able to just run the front 2 channels and a sub for 2-channel music, or turn everything on for DVD-A and DTS recordings.

I'll post up more pics once I finally get everything installed.

Thanks...it's just a Canon S30...about 7 years old! It's just a matter of not using "auto" mode, adjusting white balance accordingly, and using a tripod.

Very nice pics. Any post processing? I have a Canon G2 which was a very good camera back then but still havent learned to get the most out of it.

Thanks. That's just straight out of the camera. I'm just now figuring out how to use the camera, and don't have time to learn Photoshop or similar programs.

Here's what the system is going into. 07 TL Type S. 286hp, Brembo brakes, paddle shifters, voice-activated Nav, Bluetooth through the stereo, etc.

Since a few of you appreciated the photo quality, I've attached a few pics that I thought came out pretty nice.

Wow, beatiful pics...and equipment. I have tons of features on my 6.2 MP HP camera that I just got in December that I've never touched. Maybe I should play with them and see if I can take some cool pictures....

Apparently you're going to keep stock h/u. And I noticed you're bi-amping your fronts (active), so I'm curious what kind of processing you'll use, or if you'll just use the amps' x-over settings?

looks like he might use the passives that came with them, seeing as he is profiling them in a picture, oh by the way here is a pic of the crossover I am not going to use:laugh:
