Nice... is this for any PC? Or just ...
think it would be usable on a laptop?
Yes, it would work but there might be some services missing you might want. You could reinstall (I think) the things missing.
Make sure if you do backup your stuff so if you had to go back to your old install you could.
Im doing pretty much all I did before... except... no fast user switching which is when u could log in and switch users without having to log out.... No firewall, MS office works dine. No built in CD burning [i use nero anyhow] The menu wont show the programs u use most of the time, but thats fine with me.... and no windows media player.... u have to install it... no defrag tool, but lots of free ones everywhere, system tools is a bit different.... u cant check the dxdiag command in RUN, oh and it doesnt include windows movie maker, but i use Adobe premier.... basically all thats different. No security center... so just install ur fav ani-virus and ur good. No updates thu windows update... but otherwise... its all good for ME... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Im lovin it cuz its fast and has a small footprint on ram.So i won't need separate drivers? What components does it take out? Wil I still be able to play movies, internet, music,iGuidance,Centrafuse? Has anyone else tried this?
Set ur CD as first boot device in BIOS... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Try this.... http://www.free-codecs.com/download/ISOBurn.htmtried that. I think it is the fact I used toast or dragon burn as a burning app. I dont have nero.
