Tinting moonroof?

My moon roof on my truck has the dot matrixes stuff on it and i wasnt sure if tint would stick does anyone know? if not ill probably spray paint it black on the inside.. thanks

Many tinters will lightly sand the dot matrix down, and lay the tint. In a week or two you'll take it back and they'll get it stuck again once the glue has cured a bit more and is stickier.

there are multiple ways to work around the dot matrix. id check different tint shops.

Ive had 3-4 cars tinted with this crap on it, and from what i can tell they just tinted over it, no issue at all

sorry didnt notice i didnt say ne thing i just tinted straight over it and worked like a charm.... so far at least!

I lightly sanded the dot matrix down..cleaned up the moonroof pretty good and applied the tint..no issues whatsoever ....goodluck

I had the windows tinted in my car last year and the tint was applied over the dot matrix pattern. No problems so far...
