tinted my tail lights

so this is my '96 GC laredo. i tinted the tail lights on her a few days ago, just figured id show you guys how it came out. let me know if you like it/ dont like it. i used the pactra tint spray. it worked pretty good IMO. used a can on each light

the headlights are also new, jsut ordered new clear corners for upfront so the orange running lights will be gone as well new turn signals upfront because there old and just look like shit.

any1 know if its legal in IL to do this to all 4 lights(headlights and taillights); the altima would look badass with blacked out corners with black chrome rims wit a chrome or gunmetal lip

i no taillights are 100% legal in IL

To the guy above, I doubt headlights are legal but I could be wrong.

he didnt get to me... i honestly would rather drive this body style grand cherokee than say a newer WJ or WK.

and i have no clue on the legalities of tinting tails or head lights, but i know im not the only one around here with tinted tails so i figured id just go for it. if anything, ill buy a new pair of tails to toss in there.

light output is a lot better than the pics show. the reverse lights actually still look white compared to what the pic shows and at night, you can barely tell they're tinted.

i hate that cherokee generation

their look gives grand cherokees a bad reputation

well if you tint them the light will go thru; kinda like on the taillights; but if you paint them black then i see your point. i just think it would look good on an all white car... im not a fan of white cars but i got a deal and a half on the altima

it was like 2 light coats and then 2 wet coats. they were small cans, idk maybe you used larger ones?
