Tint

Hello everyone I drive a 2005 GMC yukon and I want to tint 35% in front and 7% all around. It already has a manufactor tint. I would also like to smoke out the tail lights, but I cant find a place around me that does it (or they know how to but I have to get supplies). I was wondering what the prices should be and if anyone is in the Atlanta/Guwinett area of a place!

Well I tinted my jetta $205 for the 4 windows and the rear windo (5%) and another $100 to do the windshield (50%)... You can expect to pay a little more because you have an suv which requires more material, and I believe you have 6 windows plus the front and back? I would say around $400 or $450 should be sufficient. Just make sure you buy quality tint... 3m stuff is good and not cheap because in a year you will be upset when you are bubling or have purple tint!

**** then $380 should be a good price for high performance tint all around...but what about smoking out? The guy at the shop is trying to find someone also, any ideas?

I originally just used black plastic spray paint and painted my tails but got pulled over because they were too dark ($38 defective vehicle ticket) so then i did some research and there is this paint that appears black, but as soon as light hits it, it allows the light to go through and works very well. I forgot what it was called but if you find out lmk cuz my friend wants some too.

Hey i live in georiga and pretty familiar with smoking tails. There is a bunch of shops by my house that smoke tails. Area-41 in kennesaw will do them for about 160. Sound sensations in marietta will smoke tails for about 300. Then megamaxx in marietta wants i belive 225. It is a real simple job to by yourself and cost about 20 bucks if you can do it yourself

i paid $150 for 15% all around on my moms 08 lexus gs330 and 35% on the windshield. llumar film. he hooks me up though cause i go there alot.

get a can of VHT Nightshades

degrease your tail lights (take them off the car first) dry them good, wash them, etc, then spray them with the VHT. its transparent black paint. you can do this all yourself, and the can is about 13-15 shipped. comes out looking professional if you paint it right (do light coats, let it dry a little, keep adding LIGHT coats til its the darkness you want)
