i pushed my cone in to see if i felt any irregularities cuz my sub sounded like it was hitting something, when i pushed it in, it kinda felt like it was hitting something and when i let it back out it sounded like it clicks. any help appreciated.!

2 cubes ported at 35.......i dont know what the hell it is, it doesnt sound like rubbing, it sounds like when u used to play sonic and u went off of the red rebound things, it sounds similar to that, or either a car with its trunk open, with the system playing.

does it have a weird rattle after it hits? If it does then it can be the tinsel leads. I had a problem with the tinsel leads with my pg ti10 when i first got it. It happens cause the tinsel lead is too long and it bends toward the cone making the cone hit it and then it makes the wierd rattle when it hits. try bending the tinsel leads if you can so that its in the opposite direction or try using some tape or somethin to make it stay away from the cone. A few people also told me that i can buy foam tape and then tape it on the cone area where it might hit the tinsel leads. I might be wrong, but i hope this helps

Im betting its on its way out, i had a blown one and the coil scraping sounded like it was clicking. Still made sound though.

Push the cone in slowly without much force, does it make noise?

your magnet may of come loose from the basket - so it vibrates with excursion.
