Yeah I got a sundown 3K goin to mine. Honestly the patch doesn't fix the slap. It lessens it, but they'll still be slapping the felt. Only way to completely stop it is cut off the lower end frequencies making it slap //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif.

I don't see why not, it would take like what, 30 seconds? And it would reduce slap if you currently have them slapping badly, also will help save the tinsels from snapping due to slapping.

Personally I wouldn't recone my MT with Fi soft parts. Just because though. I'd rather go through TeamPSI or someone that can get me the actual MT parts. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Also: I believe the newer MT's come with the felt pads, so odds are if you get a recone from RE or David, they'll be included. Idk though

If you mean what I think you mean couldn't you just get a soldering iron and make the tinsel leads just slightly shorter so they wouldn't slap as hard or at all?
