12 guage should work fine...jesus doin that alot lately lol..what gauge wiring should i use???
well i mean its not that im over excurtin it its just that its a custom sub so the motor is used to pushing a different cone setup that has more excursionYou are defenitely over excurting your sub. There is no benefit to doing that.
Turn down the volume a bit until your sub is moving at safe excrusions.
i know but since i have a recone for it already and im pretty much jus usin it till iget the other DDs im jus gunna keep using the MT soft parts...send it back home to dd, im sure i told you about the problems with re and fi recones i believe jassa's father even told you too
yea thats true yea i turned down the gain a bit to accomidate it but also was that with the new Orion or what?? i have the new HCCA-5000 hooked up to mine its my friends and it seems to be fine running 1.4ohms daily luckilyi know myself after using the 9515b's, they used leads and push terminals back then instead of 10 gauge thru the spiders, the first thing to pop always was the leads, as long as you solder it right and never turn it up near that breaking point, you should be alright, but you also may have amp or wiring problems too... my orion 2500 smoked in the first 2 minutes of me hooking it up, pulling a 2 ohm load
