Time to upgrade. 6.5 comps $300 or less

I have a set of Rainbow SLX-265 Deluxe comps in my Jeep being fed by a Alpine MRP-F300 bridged at 150WRMS. I paid $225 on woofersetc for the comps and bought the amp new on ebay for $125. The Rainbows love the power I give them and blend perfectly with my JL W6v2. They pump out some midbass when crossed at 70Hz and the tweeters are very natural sounding without being harsh at all. I would consider this setup, especially with your budget.

I am very impressed with my Hybrid Audio Imagine components. I run them in bi-amp mode. The cost only $250. Given the price, I think they're not only good speakers, but also a very good value. Their passive crossover is kind of primitive though, not having tweeter attenuation control, so for those interested in similar Hybrid Audio speakers with a more robust crossover box, the HAT Unity is more appropriate ($350 online price).

I am leaning towards the Rainbows at this point.

I'll probably post something over in the amp section to get more opinions of the Cadence.

Any others? Anyway, thanks for all the input!
