Time for some Components

Alright so im looking to buy my component set and i know im gona buy without hearing so im just gona go with your guys advice. i didnt put this in the speaker section cuz its always dead over there. the Price has to be under 200 dollars. The size is gona be 5 1/4, so i wont be able to get the CDT classics. Ive been looking at Mb Quart PSD series, Infinity Kappas, and Crystals CSC. Ive heard alot of good things about the crystal but i didnt know they were this cheap? http://www.purecaraudio.com/product.asp?0=209&1=386&3=1082

Im open to any suggestions. Also what is the difference between a Silk and Titanium Tweeter. Maybe u guys could also explain the difference in sound different components have. I basically want clear SQ thats get very loud. of course im gona amp em as well.

Dont overlook focal and rainbow. They are excelent components and have a few different series at assorted prices.

Also the difference 'tween titanium tweeters and silk tweeters are that, titanium tweeters are usually pretty harsh. When I say harsh, the highs get REALLY HIGH, usually too high for some.

thanks mattj, i couldnt find anywhere that sells rainbows, focals are too expensive for the ones i would want.

I know theres some other people here to help Come on guys, who knows about these crystals?

well the Crystals are some excellent comps for the money, I am not sure I would put them up with some of the MB Quarts and Focals, but when you get up that high it is all a matter of how sensitive your ear really is and how much true pure SQ you really need for you application in comparsion to your personal budget

You might want to extend your budget by $30...then you could find some 5.25" focal polykelvar's for $230 on ebay....

yeah i looked at the polykevlars i was hoping for something far under 200 bucks after shipping thats why the crystals caught my eye. The Polykevlars would be something like 260 after shipping so it would be too much. Those eclipse components definetly look good though have u heard the crystals and the eclipse in person to compare? Like i said as long as the components get very loud without distorting at high volumes and maintain good SQ then theyll be good enough for me.
