Time Alignment T/A Delay, etc.

Over on ASFMKASIFPMFTWMA (Anti-Spoon Feeders, Mono Kicks *** Stereo Is Fake Panned Monophonic For The Win Mobile Audio, also known as DIYMA) Winslow had a post about a guy using horns in his headliner firing towards the windshield/dash having not bad results.

I thought about taking the same concept to the extreme. Mount your drivers in the rear deck with horns following the headliner all the way to the front of the car, firing in the same fashion (towards the windshield/dash). Should be able to get everything down to a true midbass horn in there. And since the drivers are all the way at the back of the car, time arrival differences would be negligible.

Hmmmmm........if only it was a little warmer outside //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Who needs headroom (literally, not that lame audio term) anyways?

I think he was making a joke. hence, my reply. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

does time alignment shift while driving? I notice as soon as I start driving my sub sounds further away...
Due to the contraction of an object in motion as discovered Einstein, it's probably slightly closer to you while in motion //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

i tried reading through the first page upto the tenth but from all the comments ppl posted, only 1 or 2 were actually usefull. It's a shame that MOST are just useless comments.

anyway, i come here to seek some help on how to properly Time Align a vehicle with this specs:

-3way

-tweeter/mids in kicks

-midbass in doors

-subs in back

-SUV vehicle

Ive read from various forum boards and some points are contradicting. I'd like to hear from you guys. I hope post in reply to this wont be a 1 liner sarcastic reply or such which are mostly found on pages 1 to 10. (i stopped reading after page 10 as most posts were useless).

If you are going to reply to this post to flame me, kindly dont do so. I just want some help and answers. I hope you can help me. Thanks
