if you look online there are about 15 different config. for that sub. the spec sheet with the 10" 8000's i got listed several different size of box for sealed ported and bandpass. they even showed the type of frequency response you will get with the diff boxes.http://www.mtxaudio.com/caraudio/archive/2003thunder8000sub.cfm

choose the exact sub from the listed options and the pdf of the subs specs should show.
