Thumping Noise Problem ...HELP

Ok I have 2 12 infinitys with a 1600 watt amp bridged. Everytime the car comes on the subs make are really loud thumping noise and dont stop until power is completely shut off. The protection light on the amp is NOT on. I have 8 guage wire going to the battery and 4 guage grounded. I have tried two different amps both have been tested and working in other cars, I have bought the same subs and installed them and did the same exact thing. Anyone had the same problem? IS there a definate answer to this problem? Any hel is greatly appreciated, ive tried everything I know....

what is your remote wire hooked up to? Your wiring is

Ive tried two different ground locations and wires. I took off the paint made ure it was a good connection ect. Im ganna run out and try pulling the rca cables to see if it stops. saw it on other forums . brb

Well once I pulled the RCA's the thumping stopped. So i take it its either the RCA cable or HU?

What kind if head unit do you have? Pioneer preouts are pretty notorious for this problem.

Could also be the ground, are you grounded to the frame?

well if its the RCAs doing it, get a new set of RCAs to see if the problem stops, if not then it's your head unit, possibly check the wiring in the back of the head unit too before you get a new one.

Its a kenwood kdcmp332. I dought its ground since it only thumps when the rca's are plugged in. I will try RCA's first then a HU tomarrow. Ill let u guys know. Thnx 4 the replies!
