Item(s) for Sale:

Digital Designs DD M2a amplifiers

Item(s) Description/Condition:

All in perfect working order.

Cosmetic condition of the first 2 of them would be a 9.5 out of 10 only very minor marks around the mounting holes from it being screwed down.

Cosmetic condition of the 3rd would be an 8 due to the one scratch on the top (pictured).

These Beasts are .25 stable and push some MAD power, you can also strap these! Here's a little info on these from a debate over the DD M2a or the AQ2200D-

DD M2a Vs AQ2200D 1000$ VS. 500$ your choice

Apples to oranges guys. The m2a can run at .25ohm daily the aq cannot. The DD will keep on kicking even with voltage as low as 10v the aq will go into protect well before then. The m2a is meant to be run at low loads at .025 - .5ohm the m2a's do some serious power and really come to life down low. I would take a m2a over an 2200 any day and anyone that does some simple research would also choose the m2a. FYI I run a aq2200 and love it but it does not like low voltage and does not really perform very well at low loads daily. Yes, I know u can run a 2200 at.5ohm but after rise amps prob seeing well above a 1.5ohm load. The 2200 will not run for much longer then a burp on a tru .5ohm load. Plus the difference in power it produces in .5 is not a massive difference then what it produces at 1ohm. The DD is the total opposite the lower the load the more she smiles check out some bench test on soundpressure on the m2a the difference in power it produces at 1ohm vs .5ohm just seems impossible. I run aq because I can’t afford DD no reason to lie. Yes, same build house but totally different parts DD spares no expense AQ has to go with lesser components to keep the price down. Cadence uses the same build house and the same board’s only difference is the parts they use and the badge on the top.

At 0.5 ohms a lot more I think I heard around 2600 someone please chime in and at 0.25 a whole lot more!!!!!!

Some call these cheater amps.

I don't know who wrote that little blurb in your OP, but he's an idiot. An AQ2200 is easily on par with these. And you absolutely CAN NOT run this amp at .25 daily. You MIGHT be able to get it to stay on for a burp depending on your rise, but there's no more power to be had from them that low. Whereas, I've gotten ~ 3,300w from an AQ at .25 on caps.

I'm not trying to shit on your sale because I love these little amps, but there's no need to mislead people about them or spread nonsense. Expect ~ 1.5-1.8k at .5 daily. Maybe 2.2k burps. It's a tank of a little amp.

You are shitting on my thread so please do not respond. I know these things can run .5 daily and definitely do over 2000 and can be run daily that way because one of my boys has had his runnin .5 ohms on 2 DD 3515s and has never had an issue. Everything that guy wrote is true. Im a fan of AQ myself but the truth is the truth. These can run on lower voltage, less resistance, and produce more Power.

You are shitting on this forum by spewing bullshit about amps that don't need bullshit spewed to sell them.

Nothing that guy wrote is true excpet the buildhouse comments.

Here's my personal clamps of an AQ2200.

AQ2200

- .25 nomnial rising to .9 ohms

- 2,538w @ 11.4v

- 3,365w @ 13v

You have personal clamps of the M2a better than those? And I never said it couldn't run .5 daily. Also didn't say it wouldn't do 2k.

I try not to reply in people's FS threads, but come on. There's no need to make shit up to sell these amps or copy and paste someone's biased and erroneous opinion of them.

Not gonna keep arguing with you over this. Please stay out of my thread. People do the research yourself. Like everything you get, do your research first. These amps are Beasts and worth every penny, and are Extremely reliable.

Lol. I was trying to help you, bro. Great amps. And I agree... worth every penny and extremely reliable.

GLWS (just don't quote people with no credibility and no idea what they're talking about in the future).

Mike, 'fade is agreeing with the fact that they are tanks, but I have to agree with him that the review you posted is crap. Do yourself a favor and simply post a different review that is based in fact, there are lots of them out there. 0.02

1). How old are these and how long did you run them

2). What system did you run them on (nominal and impedance after rise)

3). How did you use your system (daily driver, competed every weekend and burped system, etc...)

4). What was your electrical system that you ran these with
