Threatcon 2's

So I have been looking at the Threatcon 2's along with Alpine Type R's, RF P3's etc

The C2's seem interesting with quality parts but the low end capabilities do not seem that impressive w/ 37HZ compared to 24HZ (Type R) 27 (P3).

I have read on here that people like the C2's but I would love to get some opinions on if people think the c2's are better than the subs above and why. What about the Threatcon 2 make them a better sub. Understanding that will be very helpful for me.

Here's a review of them by pro-rabbit. He's a moderator on this site and owns an enclosure business called DC Designs. He's a very knowledgable guy and has been doing this stuff for a long time. So take it for what it's worth but he seems to like them. Especially at the $99 price point. Pretty hard to beat.

I ran clean 1k to my 12" Threatcon 2 daily with no issues. Great woofer and has pretty good SQ along with hitting a variety of frequencies. I've owned Type R's and I prefer the Threatcon 2.
